October Favorites
This month I finished up a lot of my skincare products that I have been loving last month. I've started using a few new skincare items that I have been really excited about and will probably feature in next month's favorites.
One thing I've been obsessed with this month has been trying to find the best lip product for my chapped lips. I have always struggled with really dry lips during the winter months and I don't have HG product but I have a few things that have been helping... such as the Lucas Papaw Ointment. I have always heard so much good things about this all purpose ointment and I think it's a great handbag essential. I love the easy applicator and it does feel super moisturizing and not sticky. It's thicker than say the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream and there is no scent. (I do still love that product and I've grown to not really mind the scent).
For my cheeks I've been loving the combo of using the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso and the Bobbi Brown Sheer Powder brush. This blush is so beautiful and gives your face such a soft lit glow. It's an old favorite but paired with my new brush it's even better! Yes the Bobbi Brown brushes are really expensive but omg they are so nice and I love that this one is so versatile. I use it for any sort of powder!
For my eyes, I have been loving how easy the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser is for concealing my morning circles. You twist and then just sweep the sponge across your under eye area. Super easy and quick! And for eyes I'm really loving matte eyeshadows in the moment and for every day I just like to define my crease to give some more dimension to the eye and for that I have been using the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I always mix the shades Naked 2 and Faint for the crease and then pop venus under my brow bone.
Finally I have been also suffering from dry hands. Winter is harsh. So I have a different hand cream pretty much in each hand bag and desk I go to. I ordered a bunch of these travel size The Body Shop hand creams and they have really saved me from dry itchy hands. Pretty much this month is all about retaining moisture.
