November Beauty and Skincare Favorites
This month I focused a lot on trying to find my perfect winter skin routine. I have two products in particular that have really stood out to me. 1. Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and 2. Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial. The Kieh's serum can be applied morning and night and with time I have really begun to see my dark spots and acne scars slowly fade. It is taking a lot longer than I expected but I do see results. I think because I am naturally more tan this process takes longer, too. The Sarah Chapman facial is a product I was reluctant to buy because I was still wary of putting oils on my face. I have oily skin! You would think the combo is bad! However, I have not had a single spot since I've starting using these two together. I wake up with better skin and I really have to thank these two products!
For makeup, I have been keeping it simple and pretty true to what I always like to wear on a daily basis. I have been wearing the Revlon Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow a lot this month. I apply it with my Bobbi Brown Sheer Powder brush. This combo is really nice because the brush picks up just the right amount of product and is an amazing shape and size. The blush adds a nice touch of flush and warmth to my face and I like the healthy glow it gives my skin.
For lips, I've been obsessed with wearing the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion. It is a gorgeous rich and deep berry shade that feels #sogood on the lips! To me, they're a dupe for the YSL lip stains! They have a really similar consistency. I like how this can be applied lightly for a nice light berry wash, or it can be applied full on to create a really luscious looking pout. Love.
Finally I do not leave the house without carrying a hand cream. My current hand cream of choice is the mini & Other Stories Zephyr Hand Cream! This smells amazing, the packaging is adorable (although I'm not the biggest fan of the screw on lids) and it leaves my hands moisturized at all times. Hope everyone had a great month! So excited for Christmas now!
