Makeup for Bad Skin Days
Usually when my skin is a bit more spotty than usual, I'll find myself piling on everything to cover it up: foundation, corrector, concealer, powder, the works... but guess what... this actually just gives you major cake face. Less is definitely more when it comes to day-to-day makeup. It's easy to get carried away, but learning to spot conceal is going to be your best friend. The best thing to do is to still show off where your skin is naturally beautiful and to just conceal the problem areas.
The Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint is the perfect base for these type of days. It's got a very sheer watery texture and I love just blending this in with my fingers. There aren't many products I like using without a brush, but this one is just so easy to blend! It gives you a hint of something, leaving your skin looking natural and glowing. Then it's time to cover up the spots, and for that I've been using the Urban Decay concealer. I just reviewed this amazing product last week, so if you haven't read that please do! I love this concealer! I've been very happy with this combo lately! What's your bad skin makeup routine like?
