February Favorites

February was super short and went by super fast. I didn't discover too many new products (more towards the end of the month which I'm using now) but I did have a few things that I used pretty much every day and loved.

For eyes I have fell into the hype of the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow sticks. I already love eyeshadow sticks to begin with and when I saw the shade Misty Rock, I just thought the color was just so unique and I didn't have anything like it. It's a light taupe-y purple with silver shimmer running through it. I think it would look great on all types of skin tones and personally I like wearing it on my lid area and then using a crease shade to blend it upward. I wore this at least a few times each week this month. My skin get pretty oily and it never once creased on me! Great long lasting formula!

The next 4 products all have to do with base. First, I wanted to mention the Goldfaden MD Fleuressence oil because I have been using that morning and night. I just did a lenghty review so you can read all about that here!

Next, I wanted to mention my Revlon Nearly Naked foundation because I have been using it seriously every single day. I'm actually almost finished with the bottle so I've been trying extra hard to use it up. I really like this foundation for every day when I go to work. It's pretty natural on the skin and I think my skin still looks like skin. It's easy, lightweight and I don't have think too much in the morning about it and the shade range and price is hard to beat. Although this foundation already has SPF 20, I've been a little nuts lately about SPF so after my moisturizer, I always apply SPF 50 and right now I've been using the Kiko City Filter Sunscreen with SPF 50 Primer. Kiko is awesome. They are super affordable and I really have been enjoying using this sunscreen!

Finally, I have really enjoying using my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser for brightening under the eye area. It's such a great cheap product from the drugstore and I've almost run out of it! I have grown to really like the sponge applicator and it's super easy to blend in. It can crease a little a few minutes in but if I blend it in well I usually don't have a big problem.

That's it! Looking forward to March and Spring!
