Joico Color Balance Blue

I was rummaging through Ricky's in New York looking for a possible Ash Blonde toner for my hair. I started talking to a sales associate about what I have been doing currently to help maintain my brown hair. I told her I was using a purple shampoo and conditioner to remove brassy tones and she told me to try the new Joico Color Balance Blue range because it was targeted towards brunettes while purple shampoo is targeted towards blondes. I picked it up immediately. 

As you can see the shampoo has got a metallic sheen to it. It's very thick and sometimes I mix it with another shampoo so it doesn't completely dry out your hair. This blue shampoo definitely seems to stain your skin more and has more pigment to it. When you wash it out of your hair, a lot of blue coloring also comes out which is completely different from the purple shampoos that I have been using. I really like this shampoo and I use it almost every single day. I find that this is more effective than the purple shampoos so if you have brown hair I think it's worth a try! I want to purchase the conditioner so I can use it together!
