Disappointed Products

I don’t always get on with all the products I buy. Quite often I continue to use a product keep wanting to love it but really I’m not that impressed. Here are four products that I really gave a long good try but just wasn’t that happy with.

First, I picked up this Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover a long time ago and I think I just picked up the wrong formula. It’s a cream based makeup remover and it’s just really awkward to use and I find it way too gentle! It doesn’t really remove my makeup that well and I find I end up just rubbing my eye area a lot, making it quite sensitive.

Next up is the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Body Wash. The scent is quite nice and it does get the job done, but when I read Foaming Body Wash I excepted it to really lather up! I don’t really find that to be the case. It’s also extremely hard to get out of the bottle and it comes out quite thick. It’s such a huge bottle and it’s going to take me forever to finish it which would be nice if I loved the product!

Going along the same lines as the Body Shop Make-Up Remover, I don’t think I’m a fan of creamy products for removing makeup and washing my face! The Super Facialist by Una Brennan Rose Hydrate Calming Creamy Cleanser was just alright. I left it in the shower after I didn’t find it that impressive and I used it many times with my Clarisonic but I just didn’t really like the consistency. It did feel very gentle and the smell was alright. I’m proud I did finish this up though! 

Finally, I was super disappointed with the Macadamia Volumizing Dry Shampoo. I had super high hopes for this one and I used it quite a bit but this stuff leaves your hair feeling so weighed down and stiff. You can really feel the product and it felt awful. I was really sad because it was quite an expensive dry shampoo and it just performed really poorly. Do not get this dry shampoo!!!
