Skincare Empties

skincare empties

I've been very M.I.A. from the blog but I'm hoping to change that! I still have been actively posting on Instagram so if you want to see what I've been up to you can look here :)

My skincare routine became very simple once I got pregnant. I was more careful about what products to apply on my face. It's taken me a lot longer to finish up some products, but just wanted to quickly share 4 products that I really enjoyed using up:

1. Pixi Glow Tonic
At first I thought this toner was a bit too strong for my skin, but I came back to it with a few months break in between and I grew to really enjoy using it. It's a gentle exfoliating toner that helps remove dead skin cells and leaves your face super clean and glowing. I really like Pixi Beauty as a brand and I want to try more of their products. I think I would repurchase this guy but currently I'm really into facial sprays because it's just so much quicker and easier.

2. Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm
Honestly this is my holy grail cleansing balm and it lasted me pretty much half the year! The balm is not too hard or oily and simply gets the job done. I've been testing a few other cleansing balms since using this one up and none of them compare. I'm always left with panda eyes even after I double cleanse! I just repurchased this since the Sephora VIB sale is going on!

3. Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid
Since moving to California, my skin can never get enough moisture. And now that I'm pregnant my skin has also changed and isn't really oily or combination anymore. I started using this serum morning and night to help lock in the moisture and keep my skin looking plump and fresh throughout the day. It's a really watery serum that feels really refreshing and light on the skin. It didn't irritate or feel strong at all and was just an overall nice moisturizing step!

4. Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Face Mist
As I mentioned earlier, I love a good face mist and this one was super nice to apply. I like the spray application which is important because you don't want a bad sprayer. I love the Herbivore Botanicals range and want to try everything!

Look forward to posting more!
