HUGE Skincare Empties
It's been a minute since I've written a post and since then I've finished a bunch of skincare products! I always feel a great sense of accomplishment when I finish a product. Such a happy feeling. Here's the empties lineup:
First Aid Beauty Instant Oatmeal Mask and Face Cleanser
I love First Aid Beauty and this Oatmeal Mask was definitely my favorite. It's a very unique mask and I had never really tried anything like it before. It's a really hydrating masks that also helps calms and soothe stressed skin. I loved using this on it's own or even after a charcoal mask. The Cleanser was pretty good as well but I definitely loved the mask more.
3LAB Perfect Sunscreen
Pricey but this is an awesome sunscreen. I always choose something with SPF 30 or more for my face and this has SPF 50+! This sunscreen is also oil-free which is great because it didn't make my face feel thick and looked natural under makeup.
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Exfoliating Booster
Honestly this was too expensive for me to probably repurchase but I do really like everything I've tried from Sarah Chapman. I don't think you see results overnight but my skin did drink this up and it's a good product to use twice a week and really works while you sleep.
Mychelle Clear Skin Serum
I had picked this up on a whim and I actually really, really liked this for clearing up my skin. I noticed that this helped keep my spots at bay. It's a nice gel like texture that helps control shine and breakouts. Not sure if this product has been replaced with the Clear Skin Pore Refiner on Mychelle's website, but I need more because this stuff is good!
Mizon Mela Defense White Capsule Essence
If you've never used or heard of an essence before you can read my original post about this product here. I loved the consistency of this essence but I don't really think I saw a huge difference in brightening.
Prim Botanicals The Body Oil
Oils are a new thing I've been using to replace my body lotions. They feel amazing, are super hydrating and absorb more quickly into the skin. The Body Oil has a pretty strong scent but I got used to it and it didn't really bother me in the end. Not only does this oil help with hydrating dry skin, it's also good for fading stretch marks and firming your skin! Highly recommend this oil.
Kate Somerville Exfolikate
My staple weekly exfoliation treatment is always the Kate Somerville Exfolikate. I keep this in my shower and use it midweek once a week. I gently smooth the product all over my skin and after I wash it off, my skin feels incredibly soft and amazing. I've turned my mom onto this as well and she loves it, too! I already have another one in my shower.
Cremolab Mineral Treatment Essence
My first ever essence was the Cremolab Essence. Normally with such slippery products I would apply it to a cotton pad first and then wipe it across my face, but because I didn't want to waste any product, I would just pour the product into the palm of my hand and then pat it into my face. Not sure I loved this process, but it did make my face feel really refreshed in the morning!
Eva-NYC Dry Shampoo
I'm kind of picky with Dry Shampoo but this one was great! I got this in a sample size and would definitely buy the full size again. What's your favorite dry shampoo? I would love to know!
Thanks for reading! This was a long one :)
