Empties #11
It's been awhile since my last Empties post and I've collected quite a few items. First of all I want to pat myself on my back for using up a whole bottle of Bioderma Crealine TS H20! This is the only thing I use to remove my makeup because it's super gentle and feels like water but manages to take up most of my makeup before I wash my face at night. It's basically the best.
I finished 2 face washes. First I finished the Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. I think it took me two years to finish this guy! I only used it in the shower and mostly with my Clarisonic Aria. The exfoliating beads are super fine and it's gentle enough for every day use. And my second cleanser I finished was the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser. Along the same lines as the previous cleanser but this one did seems a little heavier and thicker in consistency. I liked the size of this one too. It was great for travel. Another Clarins product I finished was the Clarins Toning Lotion. I really enjoyed this one. It didn't sting my face and felt really gentle and made my skin feel super clean.
I loved using The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter. These are always on sale at The Body Show so I think they're great value! The range is amazing so I really want to try many more. I'm currently using the Peach one and it's got a much thicker consistency. The Vitamin E Body Butter was super creamy and easy to blend end - I really recommend trying it!
Hair masks have become a huge staple in my hair care routine now. I used to be so lazy but since I have started dying my hair again it's super important to do hair masks. I really enjoyed using the Amika Nourishing Mask two times a week to help give some moisture and life back to my hair. My hair always felt instantly smoother and more touchable after using this. Good to the last drop.
I finally finished up the Kevyn Aucoin The Mascara Volume. I had a love/hate relationship with this one. It was unlike any mascara I had tried before. When you remove the mascara... the formula had coated each lash in a way that it would completely come off in pieces. It looks as if your lashes are falling off for the first time but it's just the mascara. It's very strange.
I also finished the Indeed Labs Pepta-Bright serum. Sadly I don't think I really noticed any differences in my skin tone. Not sure if I need to use this longer or something but it felt nice to apply but I didn't notice anything. Lastly, I finished a chapstick! I find it super rare to finish up chapsticks because I always end up losing them but this one I kept in my bathroom mirror and I managed to finish it up! Woohoo!
