The Clayful Stay with Immunocologie
I was so honored to be invited by Immunocologie, a luxury natural skincare brand, to be a guest during their Clayful Stay weekend at The Ranch at Laguna Beach. They generously let me bring a friend, so it was a weekend of learning and relaxation for 2 sleep deprived mamas! When I checked in, I was greeted by this cute little deer, this darling eye mask and the most comfortable robe with my name embroidered on it!! Seriously the robe is the best thing ever. The bathroom was stocked with all the essentials for the most luxurious night routine: Immunocologie Hyaluronic Serum, Body Serum, Vital Clay mask and the Night Protection moisturizer.
After we settled in, we got ready to meet with the Immunocologie team and other guests for a lovely cocktail reception at Sycamore Spa. The drinks were all inspired by the ingredients in the products! We met with the founder, director of communications and other lovely inspiring women. The event was to celebrate the launch of brand at the resort spa!
That night we had a girls night in with our Vital Clay masks and room service. It was awesome.
Bright and early the next morning we went on a 7am hike on the Aliso Peak Trail. It was a short trail to the top and the views were absolutely stunning. If you haven't already, you need to go to Laguna Beach for your next weekend trip! We stopped to take a photo with Karen Ballou, the founder of Immunocologie.
The whole weekend felt very personal and intimate since the brand only invited a few select guests. During brunch, we learned more about the touching story of Karen's own personal battle with cancer which ultimately led to the development of this luxury skincare line. She became concerned that the ingredients she had been using actually had affected her health and wanted to create a line that was natural, effective and luxurious. At the end of the day she just wants to help people and is such an inspiring woman (and mom of 4!)
Finally, the weekend ended with an amazing facial using all Immunocologie products at Sycamore Spa (SO GOOD) and my friend got a much needed deep tissue massage. The whole experience was so amazing and relaxing (I alsmost fell asleep)! The esthetician applied the Exfoliating Lotion which uses glycolic and lactic acids to get rid of dead skin cells and really brighten the skin. It definitely tingled but it must've worked it magic because for the next few days my skin looked amazing! Another star product she used on me was the Super 7 Elixir. I love that the name comes from addressing the 7 signs of aging: Fine Lines, Wrinkles, Discoloration, Dullness, Thin Skin, Dehydration and Uneven Texture.
I also just wanted to mention that the Vital Clay Mask is probably my favorite product from the brand. I love a good clay mask but this one just feels so luxurious to apply and my skin always looks tighter and clearer the next morning!
