Chanel Rouge Allure Lipsticks

If you saw my InstaStories last week then you will have seen me unbox this insanely stunning gift from Chanel. Inside were 4 Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colours that I was dying to try (along with other amazing lip products, blushes, eyeshadows and brushes!!). The packaging alone is on another level. To open, you click the bottom of the lipstick to release the product. It's just beautiful.

From the brand – In a new formula, ROUGE ALLURE features concentrated, ultra-thin pigments that deliver full coverage and magnify shade intensity. Sweet Almond Oil, Green Tea and Sappan Wood helps smooth, moisturize and protect lips.

The lipsticks have that worn in, effortless look to them. They have a nice satin finish and feel pretty hydrating. I really like how they look without using a lip liner. The edges aren't super defined and it just looks easy and cool. My lips are quite pigmented so I found some of the shades not incredibly full coverage. But because the lipsticks are so creamy I really don't mind!

I also like using the lipsticks as a light stain. I don't tend to wear a dark red on a daily basis, but if I dab a little just on the center of my lips and then blend them out with my fingers, they leave a really nice sheer stain to the lips. They wear nicely and really do feel comfortable!

Chanel Rouge Allure 168 Rouge Ingenue
A beautiful beige nude shade. The formula is creamy but also thin on the lips which makes it feel very comfortable to wear. Personally, if it was any lighter I would probably never wear it but it's actually a really beautiful light nude on me!

Chanel Rouge Allure 172 Rouge Rebelle
This is a really fun bright pinky red shade. Since my lips are pigmented they look a little bit more red toned on me. This is a fun summer shade but probably my least favorite out of the 4.

Chanel Rouge Allure 99 Pirate
A classic red shade from Chanel. I love how this shade pops on the lips.

Chanel Rouge Allure 169 Rouge Tentation
Surprisingly, this is probably my favorite shade! With my skin tone, this deeper cool tone red shade really flatters my complexion and I feel super sophisticated in it.
